During select times of the year, PBS Wisconsin takes a break during our on-air programming to ask viewers to make a donation to support public television. Volunteers in our studio answer calls and assist viewers with setting up their donation and selecting a thank-you gift. Volunteering at PBS Wisconsin is a fun opportunity to share your commitment to public broadcasting, and connect with fellow volunteers and members across the state. If you have not registered for a volunteer account in VolunteerMatters, please feel free to create an account by clicking “Login” and then the "Register Now" button. You will first be asked to enter your email address and name, and an email will then be sent to you to verify your email address. Once you receive the email from notifications@volunteermatters.org, click on the "Verify Email" button within that email. You will then be redirected to another page where you will finish the account registration process by setting up a password and filling out additional information. Please note that during the registration process, you will select "UW-Madison" as your campus and "Wisconsin Public Media" as the Madison/Extension Primary Volunteering Area. Please note that Wisconsin Public Media volunteer activities fall within the scope of UW–Madison’s volunteer program and volunteer policy, UW-5001.
