Volunteer sign-up for the 2026 PBS Wisconsin Auction is now open! Each spring starting on June 1, PBS Wisconsin hosts its annual Auction fundraiser. Over 800 businesses donate thousands of items to be sold online to raise funding that supports PBS Wisconsin’s programming and activities. We are recruiting volunteers to assist with item fulfillment at our Auction Office at 3500 University Ave in Madison from June 2-13. Please follow the instructions in this tutorial video for how to register and sign up for available shifts using the VolunteerMatters system: https://mediaspace.wisc.edu/media/PBS+WI+Volunteering/1_301k8w4z If you have not registered for a volunteer account in VolunteerMatters, please feel free to create an account by clicking “Login” and then the "Register Now" button. You will first be asked to enter your email address and name, and an email will then be sent to you to verify your email address. Once you receive the email from notifications@volunteermatters.org, click on the "Verify Email" button within that email. You will then be redirected to another page where you will finish the account registration process by setting up a password and filling out additional information. Please note that during the registration process, you will select "UW-Madison" as your campus and "Wisconsin Public Media" as the Madison/Extension Primary Volunteering Area. We are also currently recruiting volunteers to make calls from home to local businesses on behalf of PBS Wisconsin asking for donations for our Auction.
