Winnebago County Master Gardener Assocation
Promote Sustainable Gardening Distribute educational materials and provide Answers to questions that highlight sustainable, climate-resilient gardening practices tailored to local conditions. Enhance Public Awareness Boost visibility and awareness of local horticultural resources (Extension, Master Gardener programs, community gardens, diagnostic clinics) via outreach, signage, and follow-up communication. Gather Community Feedback Collect and analyze visitor questions, concerns, and interests to inform future programming and ensure that services meet community needs. Increase Accessibility & Inclusion Ensure that outreach materials and booth activities are accessible to all (language, mobility, and age-appropriate), with targeted efforts to reach underserved groups. Support Volunteer Development Provide training and leadership opportunities for Master Gardeners and Extension volunteers, encouraging skill-building and recognition.
