The 2026 Great Wisconsin Quilt Show is scheduled for September 10-12, 2026 with volunteer registration opening in July 2026. In the meantime, if you have not registered for a volunteer account in VolunteerMatters, please feel free to create an account by clicking “Login” and then the "Register Now" button. You will first be asked to enter your email address and name, and an email will then be sent to you to verify your email address. Once you receive the email from notifications@volunteermatters.org, click on the "Verify Email" button within that email. You will then be redirected to another page where you will finish the account registration process by setting up a password and filling out additional information. Please note that during the registration process, you will select "UW-Madison" as your campus and "Wisconsin Public Media" as the Madison/Extension Primary Volunteering Area. Once sign-up is open in July 2026, please follow the instructions in this tutorial video for how to register and sign up for available shifts using the VolunteerMatters system: https://mediaspace.wisc.edu/media/PBS+WI+Volunteering/1_301k8w4z The Great Wisconsin Quilt Show is an educational and community fundraising event presented by PBS Wisconsin and Nancy Zieman Productions. Attendees can connect with their creative muse by participating in quilt-related workshops, lectures and stage presentations. See an artist's creativity turned into a beautiful quilt by walking through our juried quilt exhibit. And don't forget to bring your walking shoes as guests can shop their way through a 85,000-square-foot vendor mall! Volunteers will received free admission and parking on the day(s) they volunteer as well as refreshments before and after their shift.
